Happy New Year!

Well, it has been a long time since I wrote something here. First off, I want to greet everyone a Happy New Year! Looking forward for a technology-centric 2007. A quick recap of the year that was (2006).

1. Apple certainly made huge strides. How many of you have seen ordinary and not-so ordinary folks use a MacBook in coffee houses around the Metro and even in the provinces? It’s crazy! And lets not talk about iPods. Just take a walk along the street of Ayala and almost everyone has those white earbuds.

2.  The console war has started. Well, I dont know if Nintendo Wii and Sony’s PlayStation 3 are already sold in the market, but I know someone who bought Microsoft’s XBOX 360. Judging by the look of it, he definitely has some with it.

3. Open source is now a force to reckon with and it even has a new bill to go along with it.

So far, thats about it. Next week Im going to feature, Palm TX, my Christmas gift to my girlfriend.
